Aisha Jamila Hinds, an American actress who is best recognized for her appearances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Her versatility has been demonstrated in TV series including 9-1-1 Detroit 1, 8-7, and Under the Dome since she first made an appearance acting in the year 2003. She was first noticed in 2005 when she played the character of Anna which was featured on Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her performance in the role of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) within the biography All the Way film that earned her the attention of an actor.
